About our Club

Lions Club of Kolkata Aastha is a non-profit organization, dedicated for serving the society. Our club was formed in 2022 under District 322B1 based on the able mentorship of our sponsoring club Lions Club of Calcutta (North).

We received our Charter on 25th February 2022 with a resounding number of 66 Charter Members and installation of our first Board took place on the 27th February 2022. Over the years, the club has grown from strength to strength with year-long work on several projects and service activities.

We are also a proud sponsor of Lions Club of Prakriti which was chartered, and installed on 30th June 2023. The event was solemnized by the presence of then District Governor, Lion Manoj Agarwal.

Later in 2024, we also formed a Leo Club called Leo Club of Kolkata Aastha which was chartered and installed on 15th June 2024.

Our flagship projects include - Skill Development, Free Cataract Operations, Sustainability, and Food for Hunger.
